the invisible
just came back from spinnovex not 2 long ago... my proj?? hahaha.. some application 4 some company... hard 2 do?? erm... lots of hardwork put in by all my grp members... spend days n nites doing it... falling sick 1 by 1 until 1 kanna chicken pox... hahaha.. great experience as this is the 1st time most of us done a real life proj... usual proj r 4 sch proj.. zzz.. this was really sth new as we thot hard of logic 2 solve prob... reaction from the company... from wat i c, its still far from impressive 4 dem... althou we created the base 4 dem... i can feel they expected more... reaction from teachers... as usual, they'll tell u gd gd.. but when the result come.. hahaha.. only got B+.. ok la.. its over n i dun 1 2 tok abt it again...
so our proj was chosen bcos its gd?? hahaha.. althou it doesnt reflect on our result.. we still went lor.. during the spinnovex.. its totally torturous... less den 10 ppl (or is it 5??) came n ask... n if u really tok abt serious asking (like wif interest rather den asking bcos its there)... i think none of dem qualify.. hahaha... which can b expected la.. cos ppl go 2 such things, their main aim was 2 c things tt attracts dem.. main things r robotics, practical approach or 3D games... these r things which "WOW" ppl.. n i agree wif it.. so sitting there like a fool 4 2 days was really hell 4 me.. damn sian... the only consolation is 2 look @ gals.. wahahaha... ok la, wasnt looking much.. cos playing rt's psp most of the time 4 the 2nd day... hahaha... 1st day was toking most of the time...
is it really fair?? hahaha... nth is fair in this world... our proj: we think of potential prob, solve current n potential prob... create from scratch... debug... test... add on... build everything ourselves (in terms on software used n searching 4 development tools n 3rd party sources)... think of budget (althou its 0)... some of those really attractive gadgets made: prob listed out already.. improve on current idea... design... source 4 equipment (not sure abt this pt)... send 2 factory 2 work on it.. wait 4 result.. hahaha... not 2 say those ppl put in lesser hardwork den us... but if we put in equal hardwork or even more... y our's seem like shit compared 2 theirs.. hahaha...
lets go 2 reality... when u r in a comany (not an IT company)... do those ppl care abt the IT department?? only when a prob arise den ppl start looking 4 the IT department... right?? if u noticed this... so is the IT department really so useless?? hahaha... mayb...
thinking if i really become a programmer next time, i'll rather b a freelancer rather den an employee... 1st: freedom... 2nd: higher pay.. 3rd: more $ if u work hard... but as a freelancer u oso get v unstable pay... hahaha... but who noe the future... hahaha.. of cos i may say things like tt.. but i'm sure i'll b an employee rather den freelancer... hahaha.. i prefer stable life... tt is me... hahaha.. or any of u wanna start a company can employee me.. hahaha... of cos this will b the best choice.. LOL.. EMPLOYEE ME!! lol...
